AI Teaching Assistants

White Storm Technologies develops AI assistants that support educators with defined preparation and review tasks. We shape the workflow around your learning objectives, approved materials, and teaching practices. The assistant prepares useful drafts or organizes information so educators can review, adapt, and decide what belongs in their teaching.

WHO WE HELP

Built around your team.

For teachers, academic operations teams, training providers, and education product owners.

The challenges we help solve.

Educators spend time finding relevant resources, adapting material for a lesson, drafting practice activities, and preparing feedback. General AI tools can produce plausible material that misses the learning objective or assumes the wrong student level. A teaching assistant needs the context of the course and an explicit review step before material reaches learners.

WHAT WE DELIVER

What we can build with you.

  • 01

    A defined educator workflow

A specification for selected tasks such as lesson outline preparation, resource discovery, quiz drafts, or feedback suggestions. We agree the required input, output format, and educator review for each task.

  • 02

    Content-grounded drafting tools

A working assistant that uses approved curriculum or course resources and produces editable outputs. Rubric-supported feedback can be scoped with the relevant educators and sample work.

  • 03

    Review criteria and operating guidance

Checks for curriculum fit, subject accuracy, accessibility, and inappropriate assumptions, together with guidance for maintaining source material and evaluating changes.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW

How the solution works.

  1. 01

    Observe a teaching task

Review an existing preparation or feedback process with educators. Identify what can be drafted, what needs local knowledge, and which decisions must remain with the teacher.

  2. 02

    Build editable support

Connect the agreed resources and create focused tools that produce inspectable drafts. Preserve useful source context and make it straightforward to revise the result.

  3. 03

    Review with educators

Compare outputs against actual lesson goals and sample work. Resolve recurring issues, document limitations, and agree the review required before use with learners.

A CLEAR STARTING POINT

What we need from you.

  • The preparation or feedback task you want to improve
  • Learning objectives, teaching resources, and permission to use them
  • Sample lesson plans, activities, rubrics, or feedback examples
  • Educator reviewers and rules for any learner work used in the project

Systems & integrations.

We assess access, supported APIs, and suitability during discovery. These tools are options to evaluate for your project.

  • Curriculum libraries, approved teaching resources, and question banks
  • Document and presentation workflows through supported interfaces
  • LMS content tools where the platform permits integration
  • Institution identity systems and role permissions when required

Illustrative example: prepare differentiated practice drafts
An academic team could commission an assistant that drafts practice activities at several agreed difficulty levels using approved lesson content. The teacher reviews the questions, adjusts the wording, and chooses the activities for the class. Any feedback on learner work remains a draft until the educator checks it.

BEFORE WE BEGIN

Questions worth asking.

Does the assistant replace teachers?

The service supports educators with scoped tasks and editable drafts. Teachers retain responsibility for instruction, learner relationships, classroom decisions, and the material they approve for use.

Can it grade student work?

We can discuss rubric-based assistance or draft feedback, with explicit educator review. Automated final grading or other consequential assessment decisions are not assumed within the teaching assistant scope.

Can we use our own lesson templates?

Yes. Existing templates and examples help define what a useful output looks like. We include formatting and content requirements in the acceptance examples where the chosen tools support them.

Do we need to provide student records?

Many preparation tasks can use curriculum and example materials without identifiable student records. If a task needs learner work or progress information, we agree the minimum necessary data, permissions, and handling requirements before implementation.
